VectaGuard - vector | 2.5D | physics | shmup | reactive music | Steam Demo

RetroNinja is excited to announce VectaGuard is available to wishlist on Steam, as well as a playable demo showing off a small part of this exciting shmup.
VectaGuard is a neon-soaked 2.5D vector shmup where glowing wireframe caverns explode with arcade action. Inspired by many retro shmups such as Gravitar, Thrust, Fort Apocalypse, Caverns of Mars, Subterrania and even a bit of Defender, VectaGuard is the ultimate mash-up of old-school arcade intensity and modern over-the-top spectacle.

Many games these days are like 2nd jobs (some are for some people). I miss the days when you could just sit down for 5 minutes and just have some fun, blow off some steam. I also grew up with many cave flyers and multi-directional shooters. So, VectaGuard was born. It's a throwback arcade shooter. No loot, not rogue, no shop, just weapons and levels to unlock and a lot of explosions. VectaGuard is another solo developed game showcasing my multi-disciplinary abilities.
VectaGuard's demo can be played now via it's Steam page. It's a special slice of the overall game, showcasing 4 different levels across 3 different planets, multiple unlockable weapons and VectaGuard's industrial/darkwave electronic reactive soundtrack that changes as you play a level. There's even a special cross-platform demo leaderboard to see how you're doing against other players.

Be sure to grab the demo and wishlist it if you like what you play.
VectaGuard is coming to PC very soon and consoles shortly after.
